Happy Birthday to Issie!

Today

As it was Issie's birthday we decided to celebrate in style. After a lie - in 9 am, bliss we set off in tuk tuks to The Mount Lavinia Hotel.

 

 

What a grand entrance! A bit of opulence for the birthday girl.

We were greeted by our willing waiters - nothing was too much trouble.

 

We pushed the boat out as you can see. Issie is enjoying her buffet style breakfast - made a change from Mr Knight's eggs!

 

Fruit, pastries, eggs, pancakes,sausages, curry - you name it it appeared to be on the menu.

Crepes made to order - delicious - they went down very well.

 

 

 

 

 

As we were leaving the chipmunks appeared to clear away the crumbs - saves hoovering!

 

The splendid view of Mount Lavinia Hotel. As the students would say: Yolo!

Hopefully, a birthday to remember for Issie.

Next off to a store for some souvenir shopping - I hope they are well received at home.

We spent some time on the beach before visiting SERVE headquarters for a presentation.........
