Day Two at the Project:Andrew versus The Root

Today Andrew is our ace reporter .....

Hello this is Andrew and today I will be talking about day 2 in the work place And the first day I have ever smiled for the camera

The picture below is of me holding a metre long stump which took me roughly an hour to dig out, I was very proud of this stump as I managed to succeed at digging it up where my three previous opponents had failed.

This is a picture of an old fashioned chain gang run by Mr. Knight - this chain gang consisted of Mr. Knight at the beginning, Issie afterwards then Sam, Emmie and finally Mrs. Speed and Cassie digging - although it does just look like passing a bowl of sand there were many blisters involved afterwards

As you can see below this is a picture of Sophie Compton, Chloe Peck and Lucy, the aid camps shadower, sandsifting- this was being done to help make the cement for the walls and flooring. This is a very tiresome and tedious job and probably the most hated in the work place.

This is a picture of Eddie Howe and Harry Coles attempting to dig a two foot wide by two and a half foot deep hole which Eddie some "Howe" managed to stay the whole day this involved many blisters.

Below is a picture of James Hollis with a gigantic widgety grubb which was discovered under the stump I had previously dug up. You might have to zoom in to see it although there were many dares and bets for him to eat it he sadly did not .

This is the final picture of day 2 which ended in succes with Eddie Howe and Matthew Miles showing off the finished hole. As you can see by their feet they ended up having to clean their shoes off when they got home.

All in all day 2 was a great day which happily ended in success and I hope you're looking forward to reading the next post....

Tomorrow Bobby at the elephant orphanage.

  6. Barb, Barb, quick come and look at this. Someone has photoshopped a picture of Andrew and made it look like he's smiling!!! I lay a challenge down to every blogger - a photo a day of Andrew smiling :-)

It looks like you've all worked very hard today - I'm guessing there will be some aching muscles tomorrow. Keep up the good work.
